Modifiler exists because "your photo must be under 50KB and exactly 200×230 pixels" is one of the most frustrating sentences on the internet.
What we do
Modifiler is a free online image resizer, image compressor and image converter. You can resize by pixels, centimetres, millimetres, inches or percent; compress to an exact KB or MB target or a KB range; change DPI for print and ID photos; convert between JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP; and convert images to PDF or PDF pages back to images.
The hero feature is exact-size compression. Instead of a vague "quality" slider, you tell us the file size you need and we iterate until we get as close as the image content allows — then we show you the requested size next to the size actually achieved.
Who it is for
Students uploading exam forms, applicants preparing government documents, sellers preparing product photos, designers who need a quick DPI change, and anyone who just wants a photo to be smaller without installing software.
How we are funded
The tools are free to try. We are funded by unobtrusive advertising for free users and by optional paid plans that remove advertising and lift usage limits. Paid plans are the reason the tools stay fast and available — no data selling is involved.
Our principles
Privacy first: uploads are deleted right after processing. Honesty: we always report the real result rather than pretending an impossible target was met. Access: fair regional pricing, and a low-cost 10-Hour Pass in India for people who need the tools for a single busy day.
