About the Modifiler image resizer

Modifiler is a free online image resizer, image compressor and image converter built for one job: making a file match an exact requirement. Upload a photo and you can resize it in pixels, centimetres, millimetres, inches or percent, compress it to a precise weight in KB or MB, change its DPI, switch between JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP, or turn it into a PDF and back again. An image resizer in KB, not just in pixels

Most tools stop at dimensions. The requirement that actually blocks people is file weight: “photo must be under 50KB”, “signature between 10KB and 20KB”, “document not more than 200KB”. Modifiler treats size as a target you can dial in. Our image compressor runs a quality binary search and, when the content demands it, applies a gentle downscale, so you can resize an image to 20KB, hit a 50KB or 100KB cap, or squeeze down to 15KB when a portal is unusually strict. We always show what was requested next to what was actually achieved, so you never guess.

Exact dimensions in pixels, cm, mm and inches

The resize image tool accepts any unit you were given. Forms in India and across Asia usually specify pixels — 140×60 for a signature, 200×230 for a photograph. Print shops and visa centres specify physical size instead, so you can resize an image in cm, in millimetres or in inches and let us convert to pixels at the DPI you choose. Keep the aspect ratio locked to avoid distortion, or unlock it when a form demands an exact, non-proportional box. Need both at once? DPI control for print and ID photos

DPI decides how large an image prints. A passport photo specified as 35×45 mm at 300 DPI is a completely different pixel count from the same photo at 96 DPI. Convert formats, images to PDF and PDF to images

Use the image converter to move between JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP — PNG and WebP hold detail better at small sizes, JPG is accepted everywhere. When an office asks for a single document instead of loose photos, the image to PDF converter handles JPG to PDF and JPEG to PDF at A4, Letter or fit-to-image.
